Marine quality foams need to resist mold and mildew and provide superior support and comfort in today’s complex marine seating shapes, patterns and styles. Amcon has extensive experience in designing, selecting and fabricating foam for boat seats and cushions.
Some of today’s applications require two foams laminated together to provide a soft initial compression with a firmer supportive foam underneath. Others require closed-cell material for seating with great support — a perfect application for our beaded foams.
Amcon manufactures everything from bow cushions to bass boat seat and backs, along with much larger foam pieces for mattresses and pontoon boat cushions. We also offer full upholstery of cushions as an option, supplying everything from the wood base to a vacuum formed vinyl cover.
